Welcome to my website!

I am the author of twelve books and a contributor to numerous other books. I’m also a ghostwriter.

My newest novel is Where Angels Pass, which recently won First Place in Catholic Novels in the 2022 CMA Book Awards. It’s a book near and dear to my heart because it’s based on the true events of my father’s life and the abuse he experienced at the hands of a priest when he was a freshman in high school. He kept the secret (he only told my mother) his entire life.

I was honored to be a recipient of my Alma Mater’s Hall of Fame (Triton Regional High School, Class of ’77).

I am past President of the Catholic Writers Guild (2012-2015). I’ve appeared numerous times on EWTN’s Bookmark with Doug Keck, EWTN radio, and other Catholic TV and radio shows. An occasional presenter at Catholic conferences, I enjoy speaking on a variety of topics: Pregnancy Loss, Theology of the Body, Responsible Parenthood, Natural Family Planning, Homeschooling, and various writing topics.

My husband, James Hrkach, and I are the parents of five adult sons, three daughters-in-law (and grandparents to two precious grandchildren). We live in Pakenham, Ontario Canada. We also organize the Pembroke Diocesan Marriage Preparation Team.
